Hi, I am Monica Garcia.
I am a wife and a mother of seven and three bonus children. I am located in Abilene, Texas. My day job is working as a director of clinical education at a local university and as a practicing speech language pathologist. I love to read, watch ridiculous shows on television, and of course, take a lot of pictures!
For as long as I can remember, I had a fascination with photography and took as many pictures as I could. In high school I enrolled in photojournalism and was honored to be our school newspaper and yearbook photographer.
Over the years my children and extended family have been the focus of my photography, much to their dismay many times! But as they grow older, and we have lost many close loved ones, they appreciate all the images and memories we have to enjoy. Although events and people will live forever in our hearts, having that visual keepsake is something that can be treasured by future generations as well!! That is the beauty of photography!
